Qualifications

• Experience developing military technical manuals or other DoD technical publications.
• Experience with Arbortext XML, desktop publishing, WebFLIS, and military technical publication standards.
• Strong technical writing, research, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruction manuals and other technical documents for the GSCE program.
• Develop, gather, and disseminate technical information among GSCE programs and partners.
• Collect and organize information for military technical publications (TM).
• Research source data provided by TACOM.
• Develop integrated art and text during publishing to ensure clear formatting.
• Support logisticians, provisioners, engineers, and quality control personnel during manual development.
• Provide desktop publishing support for technical manuals and parts lists.
• Research technical source data, NSNs, and use WebFLIS.
• Author and publish technical work packages using Arbortext XML and EMS NG Publisher.
• Support delivery of required CDRL technical documentation.
