Job summary

CACI is seeking a cleared DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join a mission-focused team. The role emphasizes hands-on RHEL administration, automation with Puppet/Ansible, and robust CI/CD workflows in secure environments.

You will collaborate across software, infrastructure, and cybersecurity to deliver scalable, reliable systems while balancing security and automation in production and test environments.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required within onboarding.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) within 45 days of hire.
• Strong experience administering and troubleshooting RHEL systems and networking.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related technical field is required.
• 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Puppet and Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Familiar with Agile DevOps practices and secure software delivery.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python) and strong OS/network/application troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain RHEL-based environments for deployments.
• Develop automation using Puppet and Ansible; support CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist with Tier 3/4 troubleshooting across infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, scalable systems.
• Document procedures, troubleshooting guides, and deployment workflows.
• Support monitoring and automation to improve production reliability and security.
