Bestgate Engineering is hiring a DevOps Engineer specializing in Kubernetes to join a mission-focused engineering team. The role covers Linux administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps across infrastructure and networks.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Terraform/Ansible, and work with Jenkins or GitLab to deploy scalable, secure systems. The ideal candidate has extensive Kubernetes experience, TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance, and a strong background in

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software/system deployments and Linux administration
• Recent hands-on Kubernetes experience within last 3 years
• Strong Linux admin/troubleshooting (RHEL/CentOS)
• Network design, maintenance, upgrades
• LAN/CAN/WAN administration
• Experience with Arista and Cisco devices
• Docker and Kubernetes for deployment
• Kubernetes clusters with HA, scalability, security
• Python and Bash scripting
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab
• Infrastructure as Code with Ansible or Terraform
• Active TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance and CCNA
• Bachelor’s degree; 4 years TE/related experience may substitute
