Job summary

CTC Group seeks cleared Arabic Linguists to support mission-focused language services in the Washington, DC area. You will translate Arabic materials into English, perform consecutive interpretation, and transcribe audio, applying dialect and jargon knowledge across technical, political, and military domains.

Must hold TS/SCI with polygraph, have 3+ years of relevant experience, and be willing to relocate to the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• 3+ years of language support experience.
• Bachelor’s degree desired.
• Must pass the customer Arabic translation test.
• Experience with Arabic-to-English translation, consecutive interpretation, and transcription.
• Strong Arabic and English grammar and writing skills.
• Experience with Arabic slang, dialects, and jargon.
• Saudi Arabic dialect experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in editing, quality control, terminology management and reporting.
• Sponsor operations knowledge or exposure.
• Willing to relocate to the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities

• Translate Arabic-language materials into English with accuracy and quality.
• Perform consecutive interpretation between Arabic and English in meetings.
• Transcribe Arabic-language material into English.
• Apply knowledge of dialects, jargon and vocabulary across technical, political, and military subjects.
• Support editing, quality control, summarizing, terminology management, and workflow.
• Provide subject matter expertise in support of mission requirements.
