Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Chantilly, Virginia, is seeking an ML Engineer to build and operate MLOps frameworks, deploy and optimize ML models, and translate research into mission-ready solutions. Qualifications

• Hands-on scripting in Python, JavaScript or Rust as part of projects or studies.
• Hands-on model development at scale from inception to business impact.
• Hands-on experience with major DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with MLOps and CI/CD toolsets (MLFlow, WandB, Airflow, Kubeflow, Gitlab CI, DVC).
• Hands-on experience deploying ML pipelines in AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Design and develop custom architectures; define use cases and benchmarks.
• Experience deploying, maintaining, testing, and optimizing data platforms in production.
• Experience handling large datasets and analytics workflows.
• Experience monitoring and triaging data-processing issues.
• US Citizenship (No dual citizenship)

The work

• Develop MLOps frameworks and workflows for a variety of domains and applications
• Deploy, maintain, and optimize ML models and data processes in a production environment
• Develop custom AI/ML algorithms that translate into mission value
• Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and fine‑tune algorithms to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into products and services

Here’s what you need

• Experience with any of the following in practice or educational:
  • Hands‑on experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript or Rust
  • Hands‑on experience developing models at scale from inception to business impact
  • Hands‑on experience with any major deep learning framework and libraries (TensorFlow, TensorRT, PyTorch, or HuggingFace)
  • Hands‑on experience with MLOps and CI/CD toolset including MLFlow, WandB, Airflow, Kubeflow, Gitlab CI or DVC
  • Hands‑on experience developing and deploying machine learning pipelines in AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Design and develop custom/novel architectures, define use cases, and develop methodology & benchmarks to evaluate different approaches
  • Experience deploying, maintaining, testing, and optimizing models and data platforms in production environments
  • Experience working with and managing processing of large datasets and computational or analytic jobs or in an academic setting
  • Experience monitoring and triaging issues with data processes and tools
• US Citizenship (No dual citizenship)

Bonus points if you have

• Advanced degree in computer science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) related field, with PhD preferred but not required

• An active TS/SCI clearance is required

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
