Job summary

Opti Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturer in the Portland area to hire for a long-term, permanent position. The role involves performing tube bending, basic wiring, and assembly tasks on first shift, with BOM interpretation and drawing reading expected on prints and specifications.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and print specifications.
• Strong communication regarding work orders, drawings, shortages, and machine issues.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Willingness to assist with additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform tube bending functions while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Complete tasks such as Teflon tube bending, basic wiring, and cable assembly.
• Read and build from engineering drawings and labels to print specifications.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns or delivery issues.
• Follow testing procedures and accurately document test data.

Compensation: $20-30+/HR DOE

1st SHIFT: 1st shift

• Mon-Fri.6am-230pm
• Mon-Thu.5am-330pm
• Tues-Fri.5am-330pm
