Qualifications

• High School diploma with 3–4 years general work experience or related training; or an Associate degree with 2 years related experience; or a Bachelor's with 1 year related experience.
• Ability to understand cleaning of mechanical hardware and follow cleaning procedures with detergents, microscopes, and particle counters.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and QA to prepare and work from test procedures for precision cleaning, assembly, testing, and gas sampling operations on R&D and flight components.
• Ensure processes, products and environment comply with protocols, regulations, and standards.
• Handle chemicals and cleaning solutions such as Isopropyl alcohol, Ethyl Alcohol, Acetone, Vertrel, Brulin detergent, Oakite.
• Perform general cleaning with detergents and degreasers.
• Operate ultrasonic cleaners.
• Perform passivation and handle acidic solutions.
• Load hardware into thermal vacuum or oven chambers and operate chambers safely.
• Follow procedures to support chemical and particle count analyses.
• Maintain part traceability for large batches of parts (>100 parts).
• Work in ISO-5 cleanroom with full cleanroom suit.
