Job summary

Centrillion Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Cleanroom Operator to join our Palo Alto research team. You will assemble, inspect, test, and package equipment and devices used in clean rooms, following GMP and SOPs to ensure product quality.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a controlled environment with PPE protocol adherence. This is a full-time on-site position in California with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree is preferred but not required.
• Experience in a clean room or manufacturing environment is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, test, and package equipment and devices used in clean rooms.
• Execute chemical processes in a clean room following SOPs and GMP.
• Follow gowning and PPE protocols; maintain clean room discipline.
• Monitor equipment during processing and record data accurately.
• Perform in-process checks to ensure product quality and traceability.
• Communicate issues to supervisors and document deviations promptly.

Centrillion Technologies develops advanced DNA Chips which have a wide range of applications, including whole genome sequencing, spatial biology, digital pathology, next generation genotyping, synthetic biology and DNA computing. Centrillion is seeking a Cleanroom Operator to join a multidisciplinary research team developing new technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and packaging all equipment, tools, and devices used in clean rooms.

Responsibilities:

• Execute chemical processes in a clean room environment in accordance with training, SOPs, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Follow clean room protocols, including gowning and proper use of PPE.
• Monitor equipment during processing to ensure that processes are conducted within normal operating parameters.
• Perform in-process checks to ensure product quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records.
• Communicate proactively with supervisors, team leads, and coworkers regarding process status, updates, and issues affecting the completion of team goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and promptly report any safety concerns or deviations to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in a clean room setting, is recommended but not required.
• Familiarity with clean room practices and procedures is recommended but not required.
• Ability to work in a team environment with other operators but with minimal supervision from department supervisor.
• Initiative and communication skills to report deviations from safety protocols and SOPs to department supervisor promptly.
• Attention to detail adhering SOPs and checklists, with emphasis on accuracy, quality, and safety.
• Sitting and/or standing in a clean room environment for extended periods of time – up to 2 hours at a time and for a total of 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly. Ability to lift 40 pounds with reasonable accommodation is recommended but not required.

The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $20 to $25 per hour. The pay ultimately offered may vary based on objective considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
