Job summary

Fagron US in Wichita seeks a Cleanroom Fill Lead to oversee cleanroom operations, ensure GMP compliance and maintain records. You will coordinate technicians, manage schedules, inventory, and calibration, and lead aseptic practices to support manufacturing goals.

The role involves developing training materials, communicating with supervisors, and driving process improvements while maintaining strict SOP adherence in a dynamic, international pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisor experience preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and handle chemical exposure.
• Able to adhere to strict aseptic techniques and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate techs to ensure adherence to manufacturing schedule.
• Ensure scheduled cleanings in the cleanroom are performed as required.
• Maintain proper inventory control in the cleanroom.
• Prepare sterile products per batch records.
• Perform environmental monitoring in the cleanroom as needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure calibration.
• Inform supervisors of potential problems.
• Stock the cleanroom with supplies and chemicals.
• Ensure procedures are followed in and around the cleanroom.
• Lead communication within the cleanroom and develop training materials.
• Coordinate with Manager to ensure steady workflow.
• Coordinate with trainer to ensure personnel are properly trained and assist in training material development.
• Ensure cleanroom personnel adhere to SOPs.
• Cleanroom technician will be the communication point within the cleanroom.
• Assist in development of SOPs and process improvements.
• Ensure aseptic operation at all times.

Overview

The Cleanroom Fill Lead is responsible for overseeing operations within the cleanroom as well as performing cleanroom technician responsibilities. Personnel will ensure all cleanroom records comply with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate techs to ensure adherence to manufacturing schedule
• Ensuring scheduled cleanings in the cleanroom are performed as required.
• Maintain proper inventory control in the cleanroom
• Preparing sterile products per applicable batch records
• Performing environmental monitoring in the cleanroom as needed.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is within calibration
• Informing supervisors of problems that may arise
• Stocking the cleanroom with supplies and chemicals
• Ensuring that strict procedures are used in and around the cleanroom facility
• Cleaning of the general shipping and receiving area.
• Coordinating with Manager to ensure a steady and efficient workflow is conducted
• Coordinating with trainer to ensure personnel have proper training, in addition, lead cleanroom technician will assist in development of training materials
• Ensure all cleanroom personnel are adhering to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures
• Cleanroom technician will be the point of contact for communication within the cleanroom.
• Personnel will help in development of Standard Operating Procedures and process improvements.
• Personnel will ensure cleanroom technicians are operating aseptically at all times.

Basic Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisor experience preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods of time and shall have no allergies to chemicals that might be used during compounding.
