Job summary

Hodess is looking for a skilled Cleanroom Carpenter to construct and maintain cleanroom environments. You will be constructing walls, ceilings, and doors, ensuring adherence to contamination control standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of carpentry experience, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to quality. This position requires physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and may include the need for OSHA certifications.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cleanroom Carpenter to join our team. This role involves constructing, modifying, and maintaining cleanroom environments to meet strict contamination control standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleanroom construction, finish carpentry, and working in controlled environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and install cleanroom walls, grid ceilings, doors, and windows using approved materials and methods.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and cleanroom specifications.
• Perform finish carpentry tasks including framing, drywall, and modular panel systems within cleanroom environments.
• Capable of installing silicone and cold-weld applications.
• Capable of using all required power tools safely.
• Responsible for continuous cleaning of debris on our jobsites to minimize safety hazards & airborne particulate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
