Job summary

AAON, Inc. is hiring for an on-site role in Sisters, Oregon. The candidate will learn to assemble heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment from the ground up, install high-dollar components, and assemble panels to form cabinetry.

You will undergo full fit and finish training and operate power hand tools, while learning to read blueprints in a fast-paced production setting. The position emphasizes reliability, punctuality, and a self-starting attitude, with opportunities for overtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Reliable, punctual with a positive attitude and self-starter.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assemble heating, cooling and ventilation equipment from the ground up.
• Install high-dollar componentry and assemble steel/aluminum panels into cabinetry.
• Operate power hand tools and read blueprints.
• Perform full-fit and finish training and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Position requires bending, stooping, and crouching
• Able to lift to 25LBS
• Climb ladders and work from ladder (Sometimes tall ladders)
• Read a tape measure

Work Environment

• Fast paced production environment
• Overtime may be required to include some Saturdays
• Eye protection required; hearing protection sometimes required
