Job summary

JSD Cleaning Services, Inc. in Maryland is seeking a reliable Cleaning Technician to maintain offices, classrooms, hallways and restrooms.

You will perform dusting, disinfecting, vacuuming, mopping and trash removal, following site procedures to ensure a safe, welcoming environment. You will restock supplies, use approved chemicals safely, respond to spills, report maintenance issues, and provide courteous service to staff, students and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas such as offices, classrooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, common areas and other facility spaces.
• Perform dusting, disinfecting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, spot cleaning, trash and recycling removal, and restroom servicing.
• Restock paper products, soap, liners and other consumable supplies.
• Use approved chemicals, tools, vacuums and cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
• Respond to spills, high-touch cleaning needs and other routine service requests.
• Observe facility conditions and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, supply shortages or unusual conditions.
• Follow JSD safety practices, client procedures, security requirements and site-specific work instructions.
• Provide courteous, professional service around employees, students, visitors, passengers and the public.
