Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Wichita, KS is seeking a Restoration Technician for residential and commercial fire and water cleanup and restoration. You will operate a company vehicle and perform mitigation, cleaning, mold abatement, and content handling.

Starting pay is $18-$22 per hour, negotiable by experience. Training is provided along with benefits, and the role requires good communication, a valid driver's license, reliable transport, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and a valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel out of town.
• Able to move and lift 50+ lbs.; must pass background check and drug screen.
• Previous restoration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers.
• Perform fire, water, mold restoration and related mitigation services.
• Maintain a clean, professional jobsite and provide world-class service.
• Respond to water jobs, initiate water mitigation per IICRC standards.
• Schedule tasks to ensure timely service, including on-call rotations.
• Perform other duties as required.

The Position:

We’re looking for a Restoration Technician. WE PAY FOR YOUR TRAINING! This position is for residential and commercial fire and water clean-up and restoration. Job assignments include but are not limited to specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack ins, and content cleaning.

Starts at $18- 22 per hour and that is negotiable based on experience.

Requirements:

• Execute all work to meet or exceed applicable federal, state and local regulations and company and customer quality standards while providing world-class customer service.
• Keep a clean and neat jobsite at all times leaving a first-class impression of our work.
• Become proficient in fire and water restoration, as well as mold abatement.
• Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC and ServiceMaster standards.
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely fashion, above the line, professionally and with empathy including participation in “On-Call rotation” which involves some nights and weekend assignments.
• Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties.
