Job summary

AK Building Services is seeking a Cleaning Professional to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment across assigned areas in residential, commercial, or industrial spaces. You will perform routine cleaning tasks with consistency and care to support safety, comfort, and appearance.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom and kitchen cleaning, waste management, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial cleaning preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety practices.

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface sanitizing.
• Clean and restock restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Handle waste removal and recycling according to facility guidelines.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any repairs or supply needs.
• Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly.
• Conduct deep-cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, window washing, or appliance cleaning as required.
• Ensure all assigned areas meet quality and hygiene standards.
• Secure facilities after cleaning when applicable (locking doors, turning off lights, etc.).
• Communicate any maintenance issues or unusual conditions to supervisors.
