Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Manager to lead our busy cleaning team on site. You will oversee daily cleaning tasks, supervise staff, and ensure service standards meet contract requirements. The role emphasizes rostering, training, HR compliance, site audits, and handling investigations.

Early starts from 06:00 to 12:00, Monday to Saturday, are part of the pattern, with flexibility as needed. We value reliability, customer service, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• You must have the right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or similar field is desirable.
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training, and basic HR compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and be flexible with working hours and days.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms.
• Managing staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruiting new employees where required.
• Identify training needs on-site and conduct training where possible.
• Involvement with investigation matters such as accidents or disciplinary investigations.
• Monitoring cleaning products on-site, maintaining stock levels and submitting orders within budgets.
