Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to coordinate daily facility operations, delegate tasks, and guide staff when the Manager isn’t present. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe buildings and supporting general janitorial duties with supervision.

The candidate will supervise field staff, ensure communication with management, and help schedule daily/weekly tasks. A strong emphasis on training and equipment handling is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• 1 year of similar work experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Oversee cleaning operations in the assigned building.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations and service requests as needed.
• Takes care of keys and access cards for the property.
• Reports damaged or out of service items.
• Provide training for new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
