Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Bus Cleaning Operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness across coaches and buses. You will perform cleaning tasks, manage debris, and ensure interiors and driver areas are well maintained in a collaborative environment.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work alone or in a team, and a willingness to learn through full training. A supportive company culture and ongoing development opportunities are offered as part of our service commitment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills to prioritise a changing workload.
• Cleaning experience preferred but full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean the coaches and buses to high standards.
• Sweep vehicle, remove rubbish and debris from floors, seats and luggage racks.
• Check vehicle for lost property and wipe down surfaces.

Job description

Key responsibilities of a Bus Cleaning Operative

• Cleaning the coaches andbuses to best quality
• Sweeping the vehicle and remove all rubbish and debris from the floor, seats and luggage racks and driver’s cabin
• Checking vehicle for any lost property
• Wiping down all armrests, windowsills and trays
• Cleaning windows using glass cleaner and a cloth
• Hoovering any carpets (and seats if required)
• Buckle up all seat belts, mopping all vinyl flooring, removing seat pads and hoovering out underneath
• Wiping Overhead luggage racks and footrests
• Cleaning Coach toilets
• Completing thecleaningchecklist and displaying at front of vehicle
• Touch PointCleaning

Key requirements for a Bus Cleaning Operative

• Comfortable working alone and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
• Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided
• A good understanding of English,both written and spoken
