Voda Cleaning & Restoration in Wisconsin is seeking a Cleaning and Restoration Technician to assist in delivering carpet and floor cleaning, water damage restoration, mold mitigation, and related services.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic math and computer skills, and 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred; IICRC certifications such as CCT are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Adequate math skills to determine equipment type and units.
• Basic proficiency with computers, email, and devices to report activity.
• 1 year floor cleaning experience preferred; other specialty cleaning may apply.
• IICRC certifications (CCT) are highly desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpet and floor cleaning and restoration tasks as offered by the company.
• Complete cleaning documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and observe company standards.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles and perform basic maintenance.
• Ensure proper stock and inventory of tools and supplies for vehicles.

Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services.

Cleaning and Restoration Technician Qualifications and Experience

• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
• Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
• Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
• 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.)
• Highly Desired Certificates from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC)
  • Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)* preferred but not required
• Opportunities to advance into:

Cleaning and Restoration Technician Responsibilities

• Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers (Opportunities exist to earn Mold Mitigation; Fire & Water Damage Restoration certifications and experience quickly). (Note: Compensation levels will reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained in water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos certifications are added. Commissions are possible on top of hourly rate)
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician’s daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
