Job summary

Lapels is seeking a Cleaner/Spotter for its environmentally friendly Lapels Plant. You will ensure quality and profitability by managing spotting, running loads, finishing, and supervising finishers to maintain efficient production.

The ideal candidate has three years of industry experience and a demonstrated ability to oversee sorting and station flow across the plant, recognizing stains and applying pre- or post-spotting techniques to maximize throughput.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of industry experience.
• Prior knowledge of running a Dry Cleaning Plant.

Responsibilities

• Professional Spotting – recognizing stain type and pre-spotting or post-spotting garments.
• Running dry cleaning loads.
• Finishing of garments.
• Overseeing finishers & pressers to ensure quality work at profitable production levels.
• Overall control of work.
• Sorting of garments to proper stations throughout the Plant.

Job description

The Cleaner/Spotter of an Environmentally Friendly Lapels Plant is responsible for ensuring the overall production quality and profitability of garment cleaning.We typically look for a Cleaner/Spotter with three (3) years of industry experience, who not only has prior knowledge of running a Dry Cleaning Plant but is also open-minded to seeing the benefits of using the Lapels program and systems of production.

At Lapels, a Cleaner/Spotter will daily be responsible for such items as:

• Professional Spotting – including recognizing the type of stain and either pre-spotting or post spotting that garment
• Running dry cleaning loads
• Finishing of garments
• Overseeing finishers & pressers to ensure quality work at profitable production levels
• Overall control of work
• Sorting of garments to proper stations throughout Plant
