Job summary

SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to mop, scrub, buff and wax floors and to wash corridors, stairs, lavatories, and walls. Schedule is based on a 40-hour week with a 3:00pm–11:30pm shift, rotating weekends and holidays; located at the Downtown Campus, with emphasis on safety and excellent customer service.

Job Summary:

Will mop, clean, buff & wax floors as well as wash corridors, stairs, stairwells, walls and partitions; safely use various hand operated equipment and detergents, & other cleaning products; scrub and clean all areas of lavatories, rooms, & facilities. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and stretch for long periods of time. Must have ability to climb ladders and scaffolds. Must have the ability to understand and follow verbal and simple written instructions. Excellent customer service skills are necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
