Job summary

Ballston Spa Central School District is seeking a part-time cleaner to support the facilities team with evening shifts. The role runs Monday to Thursday from 7 pm to 11 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, year-round.

Responsibilities include dusting and cleaning all areas, washing windows and walls, sweeping and mopping floors, disposing of refuse, and reporting any equipment issues to a supervisor. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

• Sweeps, mops and washes floors.
• Gathers and disposes of refuse.
• Refills soap, towels and soap dispensers.
• Reports defective fixtures or mechanical equipment to supervisor; may perform a variety of building maintenance or repair tasks.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and brass; may deliver packages.
