Job summary

GF Fitness Newington is seeking a reliable Nighttime Cleaner to help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for our members. Shift: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM. The role focuses on bathrooms, locker rooms, floors, and gym equipment sanitation.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and working independently in a busy gym setting. Prior cleaning experience preferred; punctuality and strong work ethic are essential to uphold high standards for member experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic and ability to maintain a consistent level of performance.
• Comfortable working in a busy gym environment.

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and locker room areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain gym floors
• Wipe down and sanitize gym equipment
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
• Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other supplies
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when items need to be reordered
• Keep storage and cleaning areas organized
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly
