Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe environment across base building and laboratory spaces. The role focuses on routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, halls, and lab areas, following safety guidelines and using PPE when in lab spaces.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with duties including waste handling, restocking supplies, and deep cleaning support as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or cleaning services preferred.
• Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Comfortable working in laboratory environments (non-GMP).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and shared spaces.
• Clean laboratory support spaces (non-GMP) including floors, benches, sinks, and common equipment surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and restroom products.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean windows, glass, and high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums) safely and effectively.
• Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working in lab areas.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Support periodic deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.

The compensation for the position is: $16.00 - $18.25
