Job summary

The Integrity National Corporation is hiring a Floor Technician in Monroe, NC to maintain clean and safe floors across facilities. You will operate a range of floor machines and perform stripping and waxing to preserve floors, with safety procedures emphasized.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience; a strong criminal background check is required. English communication and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs floors including cafeterias, bathrooms, hallways and stairs; carpet & upholstery cleaning.
• Strip and wax tile floors, concrete and terrazzo surfaces.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Base Pay $17.00 - $17.00 / Hour

The Integrity National Corporation is currently hiring for Floor Technician. The following summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, cafeterias, bathrooms, hallways and stairwells. Carpet & upholstery cleaning
• Strip and wax tile floor, concrete and terrazzo flooring.
• Other duties may be assigned.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

• Able to work with single discs, boost machines, wet/dry vacuums, ride-on floor machines, squeegees, mops and buckets, razor floor scrapers, doodle bugs, buffing machines and numerous stripping/waxing chemicals.
• Must be experienced in the process of using a variety of machines to safely remove (strip) old wax, neutralizing the floor and the application of new wax by different application methods.
• Must have the ability to adapt to and deal with adverse flooring conditions.
• Able to complete jobs in a timely manner as directed by the crew leader, supervisor or project manager. Able and willing to clean, maintain and be accountable for all equipment used.
• Responds promptly to customer needs; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.
• Oral Communication - must speak, read and understand English. Listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
• Safety and Security - observes safety and security procedures; uses equipment and materials properly.
• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.

Education and/or Experience:
