Job summary

Beyond Support Network is seeking a Cleaner - DLS to maintain cleanliness at multiple locations across Western New York. The role supports the Manager of Cleaning Services and requires adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Shifts are part-time: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, 6:30am to 10:30am, totaling 16 hours per week. Minimum age 18 and a valid NY driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older; reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices and buildings by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and sanitizing restrooms.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the instructor when stock is needed.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance activities and document them.
• Clean and disinfect equipment as assigned.
• Keep supply rooms neat and clear outside doorways of debris.
• Report any broken equipment to the Janitorial Instructor.
• Comply with agency policies and maintain professional conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Janitorial Instructor.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

The Cleaner - DLS is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of locations across WNY as assigned by the Manager of Cleaning Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning of office buildings by performing multiple duties such as sweep/mop floors, clean bathrooms, dusting, removing trash, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning carpets, washing windows, cleaning floors and ceilings, and sanitizing restrooms.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, alerting Janitorial Instructor of any products needed to complete cleaning tasks.
• Performs and documents routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Cleans and disinfects equipment as assigned
• Keeps supply room and slop rooms neat and orderly
• Keeps outside doorways clean and clear of debris
• Reports any equipment that is broken to Janitorial Instructor
• Consistently complies with all Agency policies and procedures
• Constantly maintains high performance standards at work with regard to personal behavior and interactions with staff, individuals that we serve.
• Inform Janitorial Instructor of any issues related to the cleaning business.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Janitorial Instructor or other designee.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

Preferred: High school diploma or equivalency and one to two years cleaning experience

Minimum: Must be 18 years of age or older

Valid New York State Driver’s License in good standing and means of reliable transportation preferred.
