Tyber Medical LLC in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Cleaner/Deflasher on the 2nd shift to clean medical instruments, remove flash from products, and ensure quality for customer orders. You will assemble pads, deflash with appropriate tools, and keep a clean, well-documented workstation to meet ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.

Experience in manufacturing and ISO/FDA settings is preferred. Strong math, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work both independently and in a team are essential for

Responsibilities

  • Clean medical instruments and remove flash from product.

  • Assemble and glue pads onto assemblies.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area.
  • Document production data in ERP per ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.
  • Cross-train for additional secondary operations as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Cleaner/Deflasher - 2nd Shift

Position Summary:

Clean medical instruments and remove flash from product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide cleaning of product for customer orders.
  • Clean and package product based on customer requirements and hold the BMI standard for clean product.
  • Provide deflashing of product for customer orders.
  • Assemble and glue pads onto assemblies.
  • Deflash using sharp knives, polishing wheels, dremels, cutters and picks.
  • Clean parts after deflash and inspect for any nonconformance.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Meet and maintain established standards for scrap and indirect labor.
  • Meet and maintain established production efficiency and effectiveness standards for production.
  • Proper and complete documentation off all production data in ERP system and required paperwork.
  • Complete all documentation per ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.
  • Cross train and perform additional operations specific to secondary operations to be a contributing member of a cross functional team.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience is ISO/FDA environment preferred.
  • Proficient in math, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, hand/eye coordination and ability to work with very small components.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
  • Ability to be highly accurate with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
  • Ability to repeat the same physical and mental activities over and over.
  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, handle stressful situations, multitask and ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively, professionally and constructively.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that can be distracting or uncomfortable.
