Job summary

Servicon is seeking a dedicated janitorial professional in Georgia to clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned areas according to company and client standards. You will interact with staff and clients to uphold quality and safety.

Responsibilities include waste disposal, floor care, dusting, and surface cleaning across offices and public spaces. A high school diploma or GED and custodial experience are preferred; EAP and 401(k) benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Reliable time management and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles and dispose of waste paper and rubbish to designated areas.
• Vacuum rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floors, damp-mop or clean spills in offices and public areas.
• Dust and wipe office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, panels, windowsills, diffusers, wall grilles, and other surfaces.
• Remove finger marks and smudges from doors, doorframes, switches, glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and orderly.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Role

Directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all assigned areas using established practices and procedures according to company and client standards of quality and safety. May require frequent interaction with client.

What You Will Do

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
