Job summary

GDI.com is seeking a cleaner to perform daily office cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and washroom sanitation. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and following all safety regulations.

You will service drop points, restock supplies, and maintain clean, orderly spaces across facilities. As part of the team, you will participate in training and adhere to the company’s safety and background-check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and relining them; ensure washrooms are clean and in proper order.
• Replenish amenities such as toilet paper, towels, soap, and sanitizer.
• Transport garbage from drop points to bins or a compactor.
• Sweep, mop floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets.
• Disinfect and polish stainless fixtures and appliances in washrooms and on surfaces.
• Participate in training and follow health and safety guidelines.

General Description

A cleaner is generally responsible for cleaning work including dusting of offices, vacuuming, the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, washrooms, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin.

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and reline them, ensures washrooms are clean and in proper order


• Replenish supply of amenities such as toilet paper, paper towel, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.


• Transports garbage from drop points to garbage bins or compactor.


• Sweep, mop floors and dust furniture, vacuum carpets


• Disinfect and polish stainless stain fixtures and appliances in the washroom, door handles, walls and countertops.


• Participate in all training relevant and as required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.


• Report any damaged or broken utilities to the supervisor.


• Must be able to lift 40lbs


• Additional duties may be required from time to time.
