Job summary

The B.O.B. in Grand Rapids is seeking reliable cleaners to join our team across all venues in the building. You will help maintain safety, cleanliness, and guest experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, restrooms and dining areas, and assisting with event setup and breakdown. Night, weekend, and early-morning availability is required.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning, custodial, or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.

• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, dining areas, event spaces, and common areas throughout the building.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper disposal.

• Monitor cleanliness levels during operating hours and respond promptly to spills or maintenance needs.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards consistently.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to management.

Our cleaners play a vital role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and overall guest experience across all venues in the building. This position requires flexibility and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as scheduled.
• Flexibility to work holidays and special events is highly preferred.

Pay

• $18 to $25 per hour, based upon experience, and evaluation period.
