Job summary

Servicon Systems, Inc. is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our team at US-CA-Diamond Bar, ISD - Fire Station 120. The role focuses on cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining assigned areas to meet our quality and safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ years of custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred. You will interact with clients as needed and contribute to a safe, healthy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all assigned areas according to quality and safety standards.
  • Empty, clean, and damp-wipe waste receptacles and remove waste to designated areas.
  • Vacuum rugs and carpeted areas; sweep or dust-mop hard floors; damp-mop spills in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
  • Hand dust and wipe office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfaces.
  • Remove finger marks and smudges from doors, light switches, glass, and partitions.
  • Keep janitor’s closet clean and orderly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Role

Directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all assigned areas using established practices and procedures according to company and client standards of quality and safety. May require frequent interaction with client.


WHAT YOU WILL DO


  • Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.

  • Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.

  • Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.

  • Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.

  • Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.

  • Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
