Job summary

Halifax Linen Service is seeking a bilingual Clean Finishing Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership on our Clean Production floor. This role leads and develops production staff, coordinates daily workflow, and ensures customer orders are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

You will coach employees in English and Spanish, monitor productivity, and work with plant leaders to optimize performance and meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish with ability to communicate instructions, training, safety and performance in both languages.
• 5-7 years of production supervision or similar leadership in manufacturing.
• Hands-on, results-focused leader who spends the day on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations across Clean Production finishing work centers and adjust staffing/workflow to meet production needs.
• Monitor productivity, quality, PPOH, and order completion.
• Use Wesvic to evaluate productivity, identify bottlenecks and performance gaps.
• Coach, train, and develop production employees; address performance concerns promptly.
• Communicate priorities, work instructions, safety expectations, training, and feedback in English and Spanish as needed.
• Oversee product flow through Futurail and Clean Production centers and line equipment.
• Inspect finished product for quality, count, packaging, and customer requirements.
• Conduct department huddles, evaluations, and goal-setting using Wesvic data.
• Partner with HR and Plant Manager for corrective actions and cross-plant collaboration.

Halifax Linen Service is seeking a bilingual Clean Finishing Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership on our Clean Production floor. This supervisor will lead and develop production employees, coordinate daily workflow, monitor quality and productivity, and help ensure customer orders are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

This is a highly visible floor-leadership role for someone who is comfortable coaching employees in real time, communicating expectations in both English and Spanish, using production data to improve performance, and working closely with other plant leaders and supervisors.

What You'll Do

• Direct daily operations across Clean Production finishing work centers and adjust staffing and workflow to meet production needs.
• Monitor and maintain standard PPOH (Pieces per operator hour), productivity expectations, quality standards, and completion of customer orders.
• Use Wesvic to evaluate employee and work-center productivity, monitor performance against established efficiency/PPOH expectations, and identify bottlenecks or performance gaps.
• Coach, train, and develop production employees; recognize strong performance and address performance concerns promptly.
• Communicate daily priorities, work instructions, safety expectations, training, and performance feedback in English and Spanish as needed.
• Oversee product flow through Futurail and Clean Production work centers, including Ironer Lines, Tematics, Handfold, Rennco Auto Bagger, Set Packing, Jenway/QC, and Bundle Corrections.
• Inspect finished product for quality, count, packaging, presentation, and customer requirements.
• Conduct department huddles, employee evaluations, and goal-setting discussions using documented performance information, including Wesvic productivity results.
• Partner with HR and the Plant Manager when corrective action is needed and work with other plant leaders and supervisors to effectively support employees and customer needs.

What We're Looking For

• Fluent or professionally proficient in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate work instructions, training, coaching, safety information, and performance expectations in both languages.
• Production supervision or similar manufacturing/industrial leadership experience; 5-7 years preferred.
• A hands-on, results-oriented leader who is comfortable spending the workday on the production floor.
• Strong communication, coaching, organization, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to organize staffing and workflow, monitor production performance, and hold teams accountable for results.
• Comfort using computers, production technology, and business software; ability to learn Halifax Linen systems, including Wesvic.

Work Environment & Physical Expectations

This position works in a fast-paced industrial production environment that may be warm and noisy. The role requires extended standing and walking, repeated lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds, reaching above shoulder height and below the waist, visual inspection of product, and use of required personal protective equipment. Must be at least 21 years old.
