Job summary

Admiral Beverage Company invites applications for a CDL-A driver to join our transportation team in Nampa, Idaho. You will safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport and deliver product in liquid, loose, or packaged form, while upholding DOT safety and company requirements.

The role emphasizes effective communication with customers and teammates, on-time deliveries, and proper pre-trip/post-trip inspections. We offer a competitive wage, robust benefits, and a family-like work environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of over-the-road commercial driving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of CDL Training: 150 classroom hours and 50 OJT (Driving) hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive tractor trailer to transport and deliver product.
• Manage competing priorities.
• Effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
• Drives truck safely and courteously to destination.
• Complete Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections.
• Maintains ELD according to DOT regulations.
• Completes driver portion of bills of lading and other forms.
• Ensures load is properly positioned and secured.
• Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

SUMMARY:

As a member of our transportation team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of our products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely drive tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver product in liquid, loose or packaged form
• Manage competing priorities.
• Effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and all other employees of the organization.
• Drives truck safely and courteously to destination.
• Properly Complete Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections.
• Maintains ELD according to DOT regulations, as required.
• Completes driver portion of bills of lading and other designated forms and documents.
• Ensures load is properly positioned and secured.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
