Job summary

Starting immediately, you will assist a certificated teacher, support individual or small group instruction, monitor student progress and help in health and safety tasks.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or progress toward it) and may include two years of college or an associate degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or progress toward GED as required by Kentucky law.
• Two years of college or an associate degree or higher.
• Experience working with children in organized settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated teacher with instruction to individuals or small groups.
• Tutor students and monitor progress; maintain records.
• Administer first aid and medications per policies.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom records.
• Support health, safety and behavior monitoring in the classroom.
