Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in preparing the classroom or laboratory for instruction.
• Help prepare and distribute lesson materials.
• Instruct students under supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Maintain individual student records when asked by the teacher.
• Keep the classroom neat, clean and orderly to support learning.
• Use resources effectively to support classroom, academy, and community learning activities.
• Demonstrate effective classroom techniques and foster respect and independent thinking.
