Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Checks with the teacher for instructions; works with small groups or individuals.

• Helps students with remedial activities and reinforces materials.
• Assists with student mobility and uses augmentative devices as directed.
• Adapts instruction or assistance based on student needs.
• Provides material adaptations to meet classroom needs.
• Supports inclusive education and peer activities for students with disabilities.
• Supervises non-classroom activities (arrival, lunch, field trips, etc.).
• Completes required training by deadlines (Vector, Gifted, Science of Reading).
