POSITION(S): Classroom Support Instructional Assistant (Cosmetology class)

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduation from high school or its equivalent.
• Will assist the instructor by participating in student supervision, salon reception duties, as well as organization in the salon and classroom. Daily duties may include laundry, product issuance, answering phones, inventory, and appointment scheduling. Cosmetology license is NOT required.

Monday through Friday, 8 hours/day, 7:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

SALARY

Range 16 & 18, salary placement from $19.66 to $26.40 hourly

Salary prorated based on start date and prior experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. 1 Tutor students, individually or in groups, in prescribed subject matter under direction of certificated staff.
2. 2 Administer and correct teacher-prepared tests.
3. 3 Monitor on-campus student activities as assigned under the guidance and direction of an administrative staff member.
4. 4 Support teacher(s) in clerical duties, such as photocopying and recordkeeping as assigned.
5. 5 May set up and use audiovisual equipment and computers to assist students.
6. 6 Perform other duties as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
