Clark-Pleasant Community School is seeking a permanent substitute teacher for Pleasant Crossing Elementary. The role reports to the Building Principal or Assistant Principal and is hourly, non-exempt, with a 183-day calendar and 7.25 hours per day.

Compensation starts at $17.47 per hour without a degree or $23.99 per hour with a degree. A Substitute Teacher Permit or Indiana Teacher License is required, with experience with students preferred.

• Possess a Substitute Teacher Permit issued by the Indiana Department of Education or hold a valid Indiana Teachers License.
• Prior experience working with students desired.
• A degree from higher education is preferred but not required; must meet employee eligibility criteria.

Responsabilidades

• Report to administrator or designee for daily schedule.
• Be flexible as absences dictate daily assignments.
• Supervise and manage the classroom, including student discipline.
• Implement lesson plans left by the teacher to maximize academic time and engagement.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and student safety.
