Job summary

The Menta Education Group is seeking a Paraprofessional to support classroom instructors and staff in delivering targeted teaching and student support in a K–21 setting. This 10-month calendar role runs 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with benefits and a direct hire path for each school year.

You will help manage behaviors, report concerns, enforce behavioral policies, and supervise students, ensuring safety and smooth daily operations within the school environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree encouraged, but not required.
• Ability to operate tactfully under stress.
• Flexibility to change in routines.
• At least 23 years of age.
• Able to work with high-risk special needs students.
• Good driving record; willingness to drive student van preferred.

10 Month School Calendar

Hiring for All Grade Levels K-21, Small Self-Contained Rooms (10 students max)

Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., M-F, following a school calendar

Direct Hire Employment with our school: Return School Year after School Year (no annual contract, no short term contract)

Responsibilities:

• Manage classroom behaviors.
• Report behavioral concerns of students to appropriate staff.

Qualifications:

• Security or Juvenile Justice background is helpful.
• Military Veterans are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Services, Kinesiology, Health or related fields are encouraged, but not required.
• Ability to operate tactfully under stress.
• Flexibility to change in routines.
• At least 23 years of age.

• Good driving record and willing and able to drive student van is strongly preferred.
