Qualifications

• Minimum 48 college credit hours or successful Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment or Associate's Degree.
• Experience working with youth in organized settings and in classrooms with diverse needs.
• Ability to assist in instructional activities and support teacher with materials.

Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or small groups and track student progress.
• Participate on instructional teams and build relationships with parents.
• Transport students to activities and assist in preparation.
• Prepare and organize lessons and administer tests per guidelines.
• Assist with English proficiency assessment and IEP monitoring.
• Monitor student behavior and report progress to staff.
• Perform routine clerical duties and operate classroom equipment.
• Support teachers by setting up work areas and distributing supplies.
• Assist in labs, field trips, and supervision during activities.
