GT School is seeking a Classroom Assistant to move groups between activities, set up materials, and keep transitions on time for gifted K-8 learners. This full-time on-site role includes relocation support and benefits.

You will spot disengagement early, use motivation tools, and reinforce expectations during app-based learning and hands-on workshops, helping Guides maintain a high standard throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Willing to work on-site at GT School in Georgetown, TX with relocation support provided.
• Available full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
• Experience with K-8 students in a school, camp, childcare, tutoring, coaching, or similar structured setting.
• Experience coordinating people, materials, or activities in real time.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.

• Move students between activities so 95% of transitions start and end on time.
• Gathering and setting up classroom materials from the Guide's daily plan before each activity begins.
• Spotting early signs of disengagement and redirecting students with motivation tools, such as progress trackers and incentives.
• Reinforcing the Guide's expectations during app-based learning and hands-on workshops so instruction never stalls.
• Keep transitions on time and students engaged so Guides can focus on coaching.

Basic Requirements

• Willing to work on‑site at GT School in Georgetown, TX (relocation support provided)
• Available full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Experience working with K‑8 students in a school, camp, childcare, tutoring, coaching, or similar structured setting
• Experience in a role where you coordinated people, materials, or activities in real time
• A specific example of holding a student to a high standard while helping them reach it
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship

Nice‑to‑have Requirements

• Coaching or leading groups of kids in chess, debate, math or science clubs, or academic competitions
• Experience with gifted and talented (GT) or high‑achieving students
• Background as a classroom aide, paraprofessional, camp counselor, or tutor who kept large groups on schedule
