Job summary

School - Staff - St. Anthony Catholic School

St. Anthony Catholic School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida has an opening for a full-time Classroom Assistant for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative, and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, work collaboratively as part of a team, and lead small group lessons. The candidate must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.

St. Anthony Catholic School was recognized as an Apple Distinguished School (2021-2024, 2024-2027) for innovative use of the iPad to create authentic, engaging learning experiences that support their unique STREAM curriculum. Qualifications:

• Must be able to attend meetings and professional development as required.

• Able to address the needs and/or problems of the children as individuals and as a group.
• Ability to interact with children in classroom and outdoor settings, with attention focused on children and not on other adults or activities.
• Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Proficiency with the iPad and Google Workspace a plus.
• Trained in first aid and CPR a plus.
• Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
