Job summary

Renaissance Montessori Academy in Parker, CO is seeking a Part-Time Playground & Classroom Assistant to support children aged 2.5 through Elementary during midday hours, Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

You will supervise play, help with lunch and cleanup, assist with classroom tasks, and support teachers across rooms. Open to those with Colorado ECE qualification or willingness to obtain within 6 months; background checks required; school-year position.

Qualifications

  • Must be Colorado Early Childhood Teacher or Assistant Teacher Qualified, or be willing to obtain within 6 months
  • Ensure a schedule to maintain 15 credits of continuing education in ECE
  • Uphold the Montessori Pedagogical Guidelines
  • Be willing and able to support and/or lead classrooms if necessary
  • Be prompt, flexible, and a team player
  • Be a dedicated model for lifelong learning
  • Bring positivity and a forward-thinking mindset to the work environment
  • Be willing to submit the requirements for early childhood background checks
  • Be able to work in the United States

  • Build respectful, collaborative relationships with families and staff

Openings on our team don’t come along often—our teachers tend to stay with us year after year! We offer a supportive environment, training, and flexibility, and we’re looking for someone who will enjoy contributing to our school community.


Schedule and flexibility

This is a school‑year position, Monday–Thursday from 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. RMA is closed during most Douglas County School District breaks and closures.


Additional substitute hours may be available for those who want them. Summer work is optional and may be available depending on the school’s needs.


Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete required background checks.


RMA is a small non‑profit Montessori school supporting children aged 2.5 through Elementary.


What You’ll Do

As an RMA employee, you would be working with a close team to support the growth and education of children 2.5 through Elementary.


What you’ll do:
