Job summary

Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. is hiring Classroom Assistants in the Gilbert area. This role involves assisting pre-school and school-aged children, helping to prepare materials, and ensuring students stay on task. Ideal candidates will have a passion for supporting students with special needs, a valid CPR/First Aid certification, and experience in a licensed facility.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, depending on experience, with additional incentives available once 100 working hours are completed.

Qualifications

• Valid CPR / First Aid certification.
• AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain one.
• Negative TB test within the past year.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a licensed facility.

Our clients are seeking Classroom Assistants to assist pre-school and school-aged children in the Gilbert area starting $16 - $18/hr DOE. Full-schedule and part-time opportunities available.

Client's Compensation and Contract Signing Incentive

• $16 - $18/hour based on contractor's experience, availability and skill set.
• $100 contract signing incentive after completion of 100 working hours!

Client's Summary of this opportunity

• Assist students as they board and exit school bus.
• Help prepare, collect and set-up materials for student participation, following teacher direction.
• Ensure students remain on task academically.
• Perform other professional duties as requested.
• Conduct/implement activities designed by the lead/teacher.

Client's Required Experience & Education

• Passion for supporting students with special needs and atypical development may exhibit.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid CPR / First Aid.
• AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one.
• Negative TB within past year.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a licensed facility (classroom, preschool, etc.).
• Ability to maintain and exhibit patience and understanding at all times.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents and staff members.
