Glassboro High School is seeking a qualified Classroom Aide to support teachers and students in a high school setting. The role includes instructional material preparation, classroom routine assistance, and clerical tasks.

The position is ten months, part-time with hourly rates of $20.44 to $20.84. Stipends are provided when toileting students are required; starting date immediately, salary and terms negotiable with the Superintendent and Board of Education.

Competenze

• High School diploma, basic clerical skills, and knowledge of automated office equipment and computer operations.
• Strong organizational skills and evidence of good moral character as determined by reference checks, fingerprint review and observations.
• District will support completion of Paraprofessional assessment if qualifying candidate requires assessment.

• Monitor students of the assigned teacher during non-instructional time when required by the students’ IEP or Section 504 plans.

Glassboro HighSchool is seeking a qualified candidate in the capacity of a Classroom Aide. This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma, basic clerical skills, and knowledge of automated office equipment and computer operations. Strong organizational skills and evidence of good moral character as determined by reference checks, fingerprint review and observations. Must meet Title I requirements for No Child Left Behind paraprofessionals if position is funded by Title I or Title I blended funds. District will support completion of Paraprofessional assessment if qualifying candidtate requires assessment.

Hourly rate for under 48 credits -$21.37

Hourly rate for 48 credits and above - $21.77

Stipends provided when toileting students required - $500

REPORTS TO: Director of Special Services and building Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This is a ten (10) month position with salary and contract terms to be negotiated with the Superintendent and the Board of Education.

Performance in this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
