West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking an Aide to support teachers and students in daily classroom activities in Nicholas County Schools. The role includes assisting with instruction, maintaining records, and ensuring student safety during bus transport.

Standard 200 day-contract. Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Pay Grade B, C, or D. Salary based on experience and education level per NCBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.

Evaluated annually by the building principal/immediate supervisor in accordance with WV State Code §18A-2-12, WV State Board Policy 5314 and NCBOE Policy 4220.

Aide
\"Aide II\" means a service person referred to in the \"Aide I\" classification who has completed a training program approved by the state board, or who holds a high school diploma or has received a general educational development certificate. Only a person classified in an Aide II class title may be employed as an aide in any special education program.
\"Aide III\" means a service person referred to in the \"Aide I\" classification who holds a high school diploma or a general educational development certificate; and
