Job summary

St. Therese School and Early Learning Center in Deephaven, MN is seeking a caring, reliable individual to join our school team as a support staff member. This role blends classroom assistance with after school care in a faith-filled environment.

Hours are 8:00-5:00 on school days, with opportunities to work with children in small groups or one-on-one, assist teachers, supervise activities, and support families as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (some college or experience in education/childcare preferred).
• Prior experience working with children in schools, camps, or childcare settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities.
• Work with small groups or individual students as directed.

• Supervise homework, games, and recreational activities.
• Ensure a safe and positive space for students until pickup.
