Job Description

Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for an Aide, Playground/Cafeteria (5 hours per day) position available at Liberty Tree Elementary School. This position will provide supervisor of students during lunch and recess, and act as a role model for students while ensuring a safe and organized environment. Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold a valid aide permit (where appropriate) for each position with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

Employment status: Classified, 183-day employment contract, 5 hours per day

Qualifications for the position include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid and appropriate Ohio Educational Aide Permit
• Alternative to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate

Internal candidates (currently employed by Olentangy Schools) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking (SchoolSpring). In addition, a letter of interest and current resume must be uploaded within the Attachments section of the application. The online Support Candidate Assessment is sent via a link under separate email cover. On occasion, the email may end up in junk or spam mail. Keep in mind that the Support Candidate Assessment is a timed assessment, so please set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before you begin the process.
