Job summary

Teachers To Go LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking an in-person homeschool teacher to deliver all core subjects to three students in grades 4-8 (ages 8-14), Monday–Thursday 9am–2pm, with Fridays off.

This full-time position offers competitive pay ($65,000/year) and PTO vacation time including spring/fall weeks, a long summer break, and major holidays, with flexibility to teach Latin and adapt the classical Christian curriculum under parental guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA or BS (preferably in education) and ability to teach all subjects 4th-8th grade.
• Minimum two years professional teaching experience and state teacher certification preferred.
• Prior Classical Christian education experience and ability to teach Latin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach all core subjects to three students in grades 4-8 (ages 8-14).
• Review topics, assignments, and tests; prepare materials and lessons.
• Document instructional time and assess student progress; address learning gaps.
• Coordinate with parents and adapt curriculum to individual student needs.
• Possibly teach remotely when traveling with the family.
