Assignment

Job Responsibilities
- Performs routine and project cleaning of assigned classrooms, offices, and corridors, including emptying waste receptacles, vacuuming or sweeping floors, cleaning sinks and fountains, and other cleaning duties.
- Coordinates, schedules, and directs custodial staff for project cleaning and building use, and interacts with building occupants to meet their facility needs.
- Maintains cleanliness of lavatories and locker rooms, including disinfecting fixtures, filling dispensers, and odor control.
- Performs minor maintenance tasks such as changing filters, light bulbs, lubricating equipment, and small repairs.
- Secures the facility by locking doors, windows, and activating security systems.
- Performs exterior maintenance including lawn care, window cleaning, and snow removal.
- Operates various equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and lawn mowers.
- Reports repairs needed to the head custodian.
