Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a Class C Driver to support hospitals in Louisville, KY. The role involves transporting linen carts, loading/unloading, and maintaining daily logs while representing the company professionally at client sites.

The position requires a valid driver's license and at least 1 year of driving experience, with strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license and ability to obtain additional licenses as required by regulatory agencies.
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience.
• Able to push/pull loaded linen carts up to 700 lbs.
• Professional communication with clients, supervisors and coworkers.
• Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Drive company truck carrying linen carts to hospitals and deliver products as directed.
• Load and unload truck at client hospitals and deliver to designated areas.
• Take carts to designated locations and perform daily pickup of soiled linen.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation; ensure PODs are signed and dated.
• Interact with customers daily and act as company’s primary representative at hospitals.
• Perform pre-trip safety inspections and regular truck maintenance; comply with DOT regulations.

Job Title: Class C Driver

Facility/Location: Louisville, KY

Essential Functions:

• Drive company truck carrying linen carts for hospitals
• Load and unload truck at client hospitals and deliver products as directed
• Take carts to designated areas
• Daily pick up of used NOVO Health Services soiled linen
• Keep accurate records/logs
• Interact with customers on a daily basis
• Ensure all POD’s are signed and dated with time of delivery and return
• Act as company’s primary representative at the client hospitals
• Responsible for all pre-trip safety inspections, preventative truck maintenance, and all other regulations per the Department of Transportation.

Qualifications:

• Able to maintain a driver license
• Able to obtain other licenses or pass tests required by regulatory agencies
• Able to maintain a safe driving record
• Able to push/pull loaded linen carts (up to 700 lbs) of hospital supplies on and off truck and transfer to designated areas of client hospitals
• Ability to keep accurate log sheets
• Minimum of 1 year experience
• Able to communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and coworkers
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to read and understand applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
